The CBA agents from Warsaw detained two entrepreneurs from the training sector, who swindled million zlotys of EU co-financing for fictitious courses at the Agricultural Training Center. This is another part of the CBA investigation, in which, in another thread, concerning public tenders for the reconstruction and renovation of a school, dormitory and the construction of a municipal nursery - mayor and vice-mayor of Pułtusk, officials and entrepreneurs were detained.
The CBA agents from Warsaw detained two entrepreneurs from the training sector. According to the findings of the CBA officers, the courses at the School Complex of the Jadwiga Dziubińska Agricultural Education Center in Golądkowo, co-financed from the EU funds, were not conducted, however, over 1 million zł was paid for them. Money from the Union were transferred to the beneficiaries in 2009-2016 through the Mazowiecka Unit for the Implementation of EU Programs.
The Regional Office of the Central Anticorruption Bureau in Warsaw, under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Białystok, conducts an investigation into exceeding powers and failure to fulfill duties by public officials from the School Complex of the Jadwiga Dziubińska Agricultural Training Center in Golądkowo.
One of the previously realized threads in the investigation concerns undertaking financial decisions with damage, firstly for the school complex, then for the Pułtusk City, and entering into an agreement with other people in connection with public tenders for the reconstruction and renovation of school buildings, dormitory - for about 1 million zł, as well as the construction of a municipal nursery for 3 million zł. The findings of the CBA indicate that the ordered works were carried out incorrectly or were not carried out at all, and the activities of the Mayor of Pułtusk caused losses in the property of the city and the school managed by him. In this part of the investigation in January, the agents from the CBA Regional Office in Warsaw detained 8 persons: the Mayor of the Pułtusk City (former Director of the School Complex of Agricultural Education Center in Golądków), Deputy Mayor of Pułtusk, two clerks, president and accountant of the Municipal Services Enterprise in Pułtusk (former employees of ZSCKR in Golądków) and two entrepreneurs.
It is a total of 10 people with charges, and the CBA's investigation is still ongoing.
