International Corruption Hunters Alliance Conference
Between 25-26 October 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Deputy Head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau, Dr. Grzegorz Ocieczek - Assistant Professor at the UKSW (Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw), took part in the 4th International Corruption Hunters Alliance (ICHA) meeting "Coalition Against Corruption" organized by the World Bank and the Ministry Foreign Affairs of Denmark with the support of the Belgian government.
ICHA meetings take place every two years and bring together people who work on the front lines in the fight against corruption. The event is attended by heads of anti-corruption agencies, prosecutors and investigators from other law enforcement agencies dealing with combating corruption.
ICHA is a global platform, that contributes to the development of dialogue on the latest challenges for entities dealing with combating and preventing corruption, such as, for example, illegal financial flows, asset recovery or cross-border cooperation in corruption investigations.
This year's conference was attended by representatives from over 100 countries. During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to jointly analyze national and global development trends and to exchange information and best practices necessary to succeed in the fight against corruption crime.
