Delegation of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission of the Republic of Korea with a visit to the CBA
Representatives of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) met today with representatives of the Central Anticorruption Bureau.
The Korean delegation is in Poland for a few days visit. ACRC was established in 2008 by the integration of the Ombudsman of Korea, the Korea Independent Commission against Corruption and the Administrative Appeals Commission. The institution, among others, is responsible for handling and addressing public complaints in regard to government inefficiency as well as illegal and unfair administrative practices, including corruption practices.
During the visit, the CBA officers presented to the guests the legal basis and structure of the Bureau, its powers, duties and functioning. At the same time educational, analytical and control activities of the CBA were discussed.
