Multi-million losses of PKN Orlen S.A. Three persons detained
Former president of PKN Orlen S.A. and two former directors of the concern were detained by officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Gdańsk.
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Gdańsk conduct, under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Łódź, an investigation regarding mismanagement in large sizes at PKN Orlen S.A. This morning the Bureau's agents detained three persons, including: former president of PKN Orlen S.A. and two former directors of the company. After completing the searches, they will be transferred to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Łódź, where they will be charged. Preliminary findings indicate multi-million losses.
The investigation was initiated by the CBA's activities, including a control of the procedures for making and implementing decisions regarding the disposal of property in the period from 17 January to 28 December 2017, in the scope of contracts for selected services ordered by PKN Orlen S.A.
