A person detained for the second time in the case of Warsaw re-privatization

Agents from the Warsaw Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau have detained another person in the case concerning irregularities in the Warsaw's re-privatization.

The officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau detained an entrepreneur from Warsaw engaged in the purchase and sale of real estate. The activities are connected with the investigation concerning irregularities in the re-privatization of real estate in Warsaw. The case also concerns corruption when issuing decree and compensation decisions.

Mirosław B. has already been detained by the CBA on 6 February this year in connection with this case. After completing the searches, he was transferred to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław, where charges of corruption related to administrative decisions regarding subsequent re-privatised Warsaw real estate have been supplemented 

The CBA officers, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office, conduct about 70 investigations concerning crimes related to re-privatization in Warsaw. They concern approximately 200 real estate in Warsaw. The total damage in this case has been estimated at over PLN 3 billion. In connection with conducted proceedings, about 40 people heard charges.
