Detained for corruption
The CBA detained two persons regarding the case of real estate in Cracow. Bid rigging. Promising and giving of bribes.
Another two persons detained by the agents of the CBA from Cracow. The detainees were giving bribes in exchange for winning the tender for the purchase and lease of attractive premises in Cracow. The owner of a restaurant chain promised to give PLN 100,000 of which PLN 20,000 he handed to the intermediary, who committed himself to settle in the local government institutions a quick and favorable for the entrepreneur buyout of attractive premises in Cracow. The second detainee handed over PLN 10,000 bribe. In return, he expected positive conduct of auction for the lease for the premises interesting for him, located in the very center of Cracow, near the Main Square.
The detainees were transferred to the District Prosecutor's Office in Cracow, where they were charged for corruption.
The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau conducts an investigation regarding invoking influences in the local government administration and the Board of Municipal Buildings (ZBK) in Cracow and undertaking unlawful intermediation in arranging the lease or purchase of apartments and commercial premises located in attractive parts of Cracow.
In 2018, the officers of the CBA detained 7 persons in connection with this case.
