This is another part of the investigation connected with the so-called "drug mafia". Agents from the Regional Office of the CBA in Białystok have detained 4 persons involved in illegal trade in medicines. The detainees transferred abroad medicines worth nearly PLN 140 million. The detainees will be transferred to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Białystok, where they will be charged. In the near future, further activities in this investigation can be expected.

In May last year, the CBA detained 7 people in this case. As it has been determined, the group broken by the CBA from the beginning of its activity, that is from 2014, could have been cooperating with over 6,500 pharmacies and pharmaceutical points from all over Poland.
