Eleven persons detained in the GetBack case
Detention of 11 persons is the next stage in the investigation of irregularities in the operations of the GetBack SA capital group.
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw have detained 11 persons in two threads of an investigation connected with GetBack. This time, the threads concern pyramid scheme, frauds, fictitious contracts and transferring money from GetBack through a chain of companies.
Among the detainees are former directors and employees of one of the banks and a person cooperating with Piotr B., who have been detained in June 2018 in connection with this case.
The agents of the CBA are searching the places of residents of the detainees. After completing the activities, they will be transferred to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, where they will be charged.
A few threads of the GetBack case are being investigated. It is connected with causing a material damage to this company and crimes related to the trading. So far, 38 persons have been charged in the proceedings.
