Two persons detained by the CBA
The agents of the CBA have detained two persons within a case of influence peddling in local self-government institutions of the capital city of Warsaw.
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw counduct an investigation into influence peddling in local self-government institutions of the capital city of Warsaw and taking on intercession in settling a matter in exchange for a financial benefit. The second topic of the investigation is connected with accepting a financial benefit in relation to performing a public function. Proceeding is conducted under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.
Within the case the agents of the CBA have detained a director and an employee of the Frederic Chopin State Music Schools in Warsaw.
The agents of the CBA have searched the apartments and premises of the detainees. After completing the activities, they have been transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office, where they were charged.
These are the first detentions within the case. The activities are ongoing. The case is still developmental.
