Corruption at the Warsaw Municipal Water and Sewage Enterprise (MPWiK) – next detainees

Suspicion of accepting bribes in exchange for the awarding of tenders for the company from Silesia. Next Ttwo more persons detained by officers of the CBA from Warsaw.

The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw have detained two more persons involved in the corruption practice regarding awarding contracts to the company from Silesia in exchange for material benefits. This time, among the detainees, are: the deputy manager for the sewage network of the Sosnowiec waterworks and the former head of the sewerage network of the Gliwice Water and Sewage Enterprise. Both of them are suspected of accepting at least dozens of thousands of zlotys.

The investigation conducted by the CBA officers under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw is dynamic. In connection with this case, on Tuesday, the agents of the CBA detained a Director of the Support Division in Municipal Water and Sewage Enterprise in Warsaw, as well as two entrepreneurs-partners of a company from Silesia. The activities were carried out with regard to the suspicion of accepting at least 130,000 zlotys by the detained director. It was about awarding the tenders for the company of the Silesian entrepreneurs.

The case is developmental.
