CBA secures documents – construction of incinerator plant, accident at "Czajka"
The officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Katowice, based on a decision issued by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw are searching today the headquarters of the Municipal Water and Sewage Enterprise in Warsaw, the Warsaw City Hall and the Safety and Crisis Management Bureau of the Warsaw City Hall.
The activities are aimed at securing documentation (including electronic records) regarding construction and operation investments of the so-called incineration plant, as well as documents concerning the accident at the "Czajka" treatment plant.
The investigation conducted by the CBA concerns, among others, mismanagement in dealing with property matters of the Municipal Water and Sewage Enterprise consisting of inadequate supervision during investments in the modernization and expansion of the Czajka Sewage Treatment Plant.
