Persons who appropriated over PLN 180 thousand zlotys detained by the CBA
The officers of the CBA have detained two persons – former president of KPS Chemik Police S.A. and Warsaw political marketing advisor.
The agents of the Regional Office of the CBA in Szczecin conduct an investigation regarding functioning of the Azoty Group Foundation for the development of women's volleyball. Irregularities in the spending of funds obtained as a result of sponsorship agreements concluded in 2015, to which the Chemik Police Volleyball Club was a party, are also investigated.
In connection with this case, the officers have detained two persons – former president of KPS Chemik Police S.A. and Warsaw political marketing advisor. Everything seems to indicate that they appropriated over PLN 180 thousand from the Chemik Police Volleyball Club and part of these funds was spent on the purchase of advertising area – billboards and posters related to the election campaign. In the course of the activities, places of residence of the detainees were searched.
The detainees will be transferred to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Szczecin where they will be charged with appropriation of property. In connection with this case, the agents of the CBA have previously detained 19 persons.
The investigation is still developmental.
