More persons detained in connection with the GetBack case
Three detainees - this is the result of the implementation of a new thread in the investigation regarding irregularities in the operation of the GetBack S.A. capital group. As a result of activities of the suspects, GetBack suffered losses in the amount of at least PLN 49 million.
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw have detained three persons, including former board member of GetBack S.A. and former vice president and proxy of one of the Investment Fund Societies. Findings of the Bureau’s investigators indicate that in August 2017, detainees, representing Trigon TFI S.A., have concluded a framework agreement with GetBack S.A. As a result, exclusive service of debt portfolios of newly created securitization funds managed by this company it was entrusted to GetBack. New funds have never been created, and as a result of signing the framework agreement, GetBack S.A. suffered at least PLN 49 million in loss.
The investigation in connection with the GetBack case is conducted in a few threads. Until now, 56 persons were charged. The detainees will be transferred to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, where they will be charged.
