Kraków – the CBA has detained more persons connected with tenders for the rental and sale of real estate
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Kraków conduct proceedings regarding invoking influences, among others, in local government administration and the Municipal Housing Administration in Kraków and undertaking unlawful mediation in arranging rent or purchase of real estate located in traction parts of Kraków. The events occurred in 2015-2017.
Among the detainees is a person from the management of the Municipal Housing Administration in Kraków, who is accused of invoking influences, exceeding powers and failing to comply with the obligations regarding the production and signing of protocols on individual offers from the tender for the rental of residential premises with an area exceeding 80 square metres in March 2016 and accepting a promise of material benefit of PLN 20,000. Other detainees will be charged with granting material benefit in the amount of PLN 20,000 to intermediaries in exchange for arranging for the Municipal Housing Administration in Kraków to win an auction for commercial premises Św. Krzyża Street in Kraków.
Everyone will hear allegations in the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kraków.
The officers of the CBA are securing evidence in the places of work and residences of the detainees, as well as in several departments of the Kraków City Hall.
So far, 20 persons have been charged in connection with the case.
