Irregularities at tenders for apartments in Krakow. Two more persons detained
Persons suspected of attesting untruth in tender documents detained by the officers of the CBA.
Head of Residents Service Department of the Municipal Housing Administration in Kraków and his deputy have been detained by the officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Kraków. The activities are related to the investigation of invoking influences, among others in local government administration and in the Municipal Housing Administration in Krakow and undertaking unlawful mediation in arranging rent or purchase of real estate located in attractive parts of Krakow.
The detainees will be charged in the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kraków. Everything seems to indicate that after initiating an investigation in the case and activities of the CBA carried out in Municipal Housing Administration in Kraków, the detainees attested untruth in the protocols on individual offers from the tender for the rental of residential premises with an area exceeding 80 square metres in March 2016. At the same time, they persuaded other members of the tender committee to attest the untruth in the protocols.
Until now, 23 persons has been charged in connection with this case.
