Invoking influences in the police and prosecutor's office

The officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau from Szczecin conduct an investigation regarding, among others, invoking influences in state institutions and obstructing criminal proceedings.

3 detained persons: a well-known lawyer from Szczecin, a former police officer and his wife. In exchange for financial benefits, they promised to help in settling criminal cases and even restoring a driving license. The suspects mainly invoked influences in the police and prosecutor's office.

In the course of the investigation, extensive evidence was collected, the analysis of which showed that there is a reasonable suspicion that the detained persons have committed abovementioned crimes.

The case is conducted under the supervision of the West Pomeranian Terrain Division of the Department of Organized Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin.

The investigation is developmental, further detentions are not ruled out.
