VAT invoices certifying untrue statements. At least PLN 710 million involved
The officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Szczecin together with the West Pomeranian National Prosecutor's Office have been carrying out
an investigation into an issuance of VAT invoices which fraudulently certify untrue statements. Their total value amounts to at least PLN 710 million.
As part of the proceedings, the CBA officers from Warsaw and Szczecin have searched 9 properties in Warsaw, Szczecinek, Koszalin, and the vicinity of Karlin, including the premises of the company dealing in gas trading.
Further procedural activities are being planned in connection with the current investigation.
