The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Rzeszów have detained a former president of a Subcarpathian enterprise. The man is suspected of participation in an organised crime group. In the course of the investigation, it has been found that the group was involved in extortion of undue VAT by putting into circulation fraudulent invoices amounting to several million zlotys. The detainee will be taken to the Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów where he will be presented with charges.
