The Head of the CBA in Bulgaria
The Head of the CBA took part in the debate on good practices in combating corruption in selected countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Today in Sofia (Bulgaria) was held a debate on good practices in combating corruption in selected countries of Central and Eastern Europe. It was also dedicated to the creation of a new specialized anti-corruption unit in Bulgaria.
During the debate the Head of the CBA Paweł Wojtunik, at the invitation of Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Meglena Kuneva, presented the role and tasks of the Central Anticorruption Bureau in combating and preventing corruption.
The meeting was also attended by Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister, President of GRECO Marin Marcela, the Bulgarian parliamentarians, prosecutors and judges, but also by the Minister of Justice of Bulgaria, the ambassadors of Poland, Croatia and Belgium as well as by the representatives of NGOs and the media.
