Renovation for a bribe. A civil servant detained by the CBA
The investigators have determined that 10 thousand zlotys constituted the "remuneration" for ordering the renovation of the commune's Cultural Centre.
The officers of the CBA Regional Office in Warsaw have detained the Rzekuń Commune administrator. The evidence indicates that the man, who in 2016 was the director of the Cultural Centre - Library and Sport in Lelis, accepted a PLN 10,000 financial advantage. The investigators determined that the money was a "gratification" for the order to renovate the premises of the Centre in Lelis.
After the search, the man was taken to the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrołęka. There he heard a charge of accepting financial gain. He is facing up to 8 years of imprisonment.
