Inspection at JSW KOKS S.A. completed
The CBA inspection conducted at JSW KOKS S.A. has been completed with a post-audit statement. In the opinion of the Bureau's officers, there were irregularities in the selection of the contractor for construction works worth PLN 289 million.
The officers of the Control Proceedings Division of the CBA Regional Office in Katowice have completed control proceedings at JSW KOKS S.A. with its registered office in Zabrze.
The inspection verified the decision-making process and the execution of the public procurement "Improvement of energy efficiency at JSW KOKS S.A. Construction of a coking gas-fired power unit at JSW KOKS SA - Radlin Coking Plant".
The proceedings were conducted from 28 January 2021 to 26 April 2021, followed by post-inspection activities specified in the Act on the CBA.
In the course of the proceedings, irregularities were identified concerning the selection of the contractor for construction works worth PLN 289 million. The activities carried out by the officers resulted in a post-inspection statement submitted to the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, as the institution providing funding and supervising the execution of the investment.
