Further searches in a multi-threaded investigation
In recent days, officers of the CBA Regional Office in Szczecin have continued searches in connection with a multi-threaded investigation conducted under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin concerning, inter alia, offences of corruption, fraud and disruption of public tender. Twenty-four places were searched, including the West Pomeranian Marshal's Office and its offices, the offices of business entities and social organisations as well as the residences of West Pomeranian businessmen.
The investigation concerns irregularities in grants awarded by the West Pomeranian Marshal's Office, including those from the European Fund - allocated under the Regional Operational Programme for the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
In the course of the activities, extensive evidence was collected, including electronic data carriers which will be examined and analysed in detail.
