Investigators continue operations into GetBack S.A.
Four persons offering GetBack S.A. bonds have been detained by the CBA. This increases the group of suspects in this multi-threaded investigation.
Officers of the CBA Regional Office in Warsaw have carried out further activities in connection with the investigation into irregularities in the GetBack S.A. company. The proceedings have been supervised by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.
As a result of further findings, in recent days, four persons have been detained who as bank employees offered the company's bonds to clients by providing misleading information about the properties and safety of the financial product. The operations were conducted in the West Pomeranian, Łódzkie and Pomeranian Voivodeships.
In total, acting in the territory of the West Pomeranian and Lubuskie Voivodeships they sold bonds of over PLN 14 million.
The detained persons faced charges in the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw. The prosecutor applied non-custodial preventive measures against them.
So far, in this multi-threaded investigation conducted by the CBA under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, charges have been brought against more than 100 persons. To date, the Prosecutor's Office has filed five indictments against more than 50 people.
