Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau Andrzej Stróżny, accompanied by a delegation of the Bureau, participated in a working visit to Romania at the invitation of the Director General of the Anti-Corruption General Directorate within the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs Liviu Vasilescu.

Cooperation between the two institutions was initiated through the signing of a cooperation agreement on 18 November 2021.

The agreement highlights the need to strengthen international cooperation as a significant component of corruption prevention. It also aims, among other things, to exchange experiences and best practices in corruption prevention and to develop appropriate professional standards, including expert meetings, seminars and training courses.

So far, the Bureau has obtained approval for cooperation with 54 countries and 13 international organisations.
