The Treasurer did not follow the anti-corruption law
Agents from the Regional Office of the CBA in Lublin have conducted a control of compliance with the anti-corruption law by Wojciech Serwatko - Treasurer of the Lubartów County. As a result of the control, they have sent a request to the President of the County Council to remove the treasurer from his position.
The CBA's Regional Office in Lublin has conducted a control on compliance with the act on restrictions in conducting business activity by persons performing public functions by Wojciech Serwatko, the Treasurer of the Lubartów County.
During the control it was found, that Wojciech Serwatko from 1999 to almost the end of 2016 violated the prohibition on the restriction of conducting business activity by persons performing public functions. The Treasurer of the Lubartów County combined this function with the position of the president of the Management Board of the Birch Housing Cooperative in Kock.
In the first days of February this year, the controlled treasurer filed objections to the control protocol, which, however, were not taken into account, of what he was notified in a separate letter. Consequently, Wojciech Serwatko did not sign the control protocol. Controllers from Lublin have sent to the president of the County Council a request to remove the treasurer from his position.
