Five entrepreneurs detained
So-called "blank invoices" issued for almost 1 million zlotys. Five more persons detained by the officers of the CBA.
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Rzeszów have detained five entrepreneurs from the Podkarpackie, Mazowieckie and Lubuskie voivodeships. As it has been determined in the course of the proceedings, in the years 2014-2018 the detainees have placed on the market VAT invoices documenting a fictitious trade in goods for the amount of almost 1 million zlotys.
These are subsequentactivities carried out in connection with a multifaceted investigation regarding acting of an organized criminal group dealing with, among others, VAT fraud, marketing of accounting documents attesting untruth.
The detainees, after the searches, will be transferred to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Lublin.
During the proceedings, 16 persons were charged, including the owner of the company, which issued "blank invoices" and the head of the tax office from Podkarpacie. The court applied temporary detention against five persons.
