Study visit of the representatives of the IGAE in the CBA

On 8-9 May 2019, a high-level delegation from the General Inspection of State Administration of the Republic of Angola (IGAE) has visited Poland. An important of the official visit were discussions held at the headquarters of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The meeting with the representatives of the CBA aimed at providing the Angolan side with practical tips and best practices on preventing and combating corruption, as well as exchanging experiences in the field of counteracting financial frauds.

During the meeting, the Head of the CBA Ernest Bejda together with the Deputy Head of the CBA Grzegorz Ocieczek, presented the tasks and competences of the Bureau, as well as the results of its activities. The Head of the IGAE, Minister Sebastião Domingos Gunza, expressed his gratitude for experience shared by the Polish side. The Heads of both institutions showed their interest to continue a constructive dialogue and establish closer cooperation.
