Another thread in the so-called drainage affair
Six persons detained by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Military Gendarmerie in connection with sponsorship agreements signed by Zakłady Chemiczne (Chemical Plants).
The agents of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Szczecin together with officers of the Military Gendarmerie have detained six persons, among them an officer of the Polish Armed Forces. The proceedings concern the suspicion of financial irregularities in the activities of the foundation, acting on behalf of AZS Koszalin S.A. The detainees will be transferred to the National Prosecutor’s Office in Szczecin, where they will be charged.
As it has been determined in the course of the investigation, the foundation signed in 2011-2013 contracts for the provision of advertising services with Zakłady Chemiczne. However, some of the funds transferred by Zakłady Chemiczne in connection with the concluded contracts did not go to AZS Koszalin S.A. Everything seems to indicate that, as a consequence, there was a disadvantageous disposal of property by Zakłady Chemiczne in the amount of approx. 2 million zlotys.
This is a thread separated from the proceedings regarding the so-called a drainage affair in which on 3 July this year the Prosecutor's Office has already sent an indictment.
