Deputy mayor of Puck dismissed from the office
On 27 May 2019 the officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Gdańsk completed a control under the name ‘Monitoring compliance with the prohibitions contained in art. 4 of the act of 21 August 1997 on limitation of conducting business activity by persons performing public functions (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1393) by Lucyna Boike-Chmielińska, holding the function of the deputy mayor of the City of Puck’.
As a result of the control, it was founded that in the period from 1 December 2014 the deputy mayor of the City of Puck was at the same time the vice-president of the Puck company and held shares in it representing 50% of the share capital, which violated the art. 4 points 1 and 5 of the anti-corruption act.
In June this year, the mayor of Puck dismissed his deputy from the office.
