Two people detained in connection to the Warsaw re-privatization investigation
Two more persons have been detained in connection with the investigation into irregularities in Warsaw re-privatization.
One of the officials from Warsaw and a person operating in the real estate industry have been detained by officers of the Warsaw Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau. These are further persons detained in connection with the investigation into irregularities in Warsaw re-privatization.
After completing the legal proceedings, the detained persons will be taken to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław, where they will be charged with corruption.
The officers from the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw are currently conducting about 70 investigations under the supervision of the prosecutor's office regarding crimes related to re-privatization in Warsaw, which concern nearly 200 properties.
On 30 December 2019, the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław sent the District Court for Warsaw - Mokotów another - the seventh indictment in connection with this multi-threaded proceeding.
