Once again, the CBA is effective in the fight against the tax scams
Almost one million zlotys has been lost by the State Treasury due to the reduction of tax receivables in connection with the activity of a company owner from Wielkopolska. The man has been detained by the CBA.
The officers of the CBA Regional Office in Poznań have detained a person issuing VAT invoices for locksmith services which were not performed. The procedure took place in the years 2016 - 2017. The detainee recorded the invoices in his business books, which resulted in a loss of personal income tax and tax due on goods and services in the amount of nearly PLN 1 million.
Simultaneously, the CBA officers carried out the necessary procedural steps in the detainee's apartment and company.
The man has been charged in the District Prosecutor's Office in Szamotuły. The prosecutor has applied non-custodial preventive measures against the detainee.
