Two further persons have been detained by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in connection with the corrupt procedure related to tenders for the lease and sale of real estate in Kraków. There are already 29 suspects in the case.
Under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Kraków, the officers of the CBA Regional Office in Kraków have been conducting proceedings concerning invoking influence in local government administration. The thread of the corrupt practice of mediation in arranging the lease or purchase of real estate located in attractive parts of Kraków has also been investigated. The incidents took place in the years 2015-2017.
Based on the evidence gathered in the case, the CBA officers detained in Kraków and Opole further two people acting as intermediaries in arranging matters concerning the lease of commercial premises belonging to the stock of the Board of Communal Buildings in Kraków. The premises in question are located in attractive locations in Kraków. Both detained persons will hear corruption charges in the District Prosecutor's Office in Kraków.
There are already 29 suspects in this case.
