Searches in connection with new CBA investigation
In a multithreaded investigation conducted by the CBA Regional Office in Szczecin under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin concerning, among other things, offences of corruption, fraud and disruption of public tenders, over a dozen locations were searched yesterday. The activities took place, among others, in the headquarters of the West Pomeranian Marshal's Office and its offices, on the premises of business entities and social organisations, as well as in the places of residence of local government officials and local entrepreneurs.
The investigation subject are irregularities in grants awarded by the West Pomeranian Marshal's Office, including those from the European Fund - allocated under the Regional Operational Programme for the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship.
In the course of conducted activities extensive evidence was collected, including electronic data carriers which will be examined and analysed in detail.
It is the CBA's new investigation. Further procedural activities are being planned in connection with the proceedings as they continue to develop.
